Euromixers unique range of IBC mixers / agitators with E-400 folding impellers mount directly onto industry standard plastic Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs). The E-400 folding impeller has been designed to fit through a standard 150mm screw cap opening, to quickly re-suspend product that has settled in transportation or storage.

IBC mixers provide a cost effective solution for products that need to be mixed before use. Using the IBC as a mixing vessel ensures consistent product quality and offers significant cost savings on transfer and cleaning time.

Euromixers E-400 folding impellers have been specifically designed for blending viscous liquids or re-suspending settled solids in an IBC.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Electric or Air Motor Drive options are available for use in a safe area. ATEX certified mixers for use in zoned areas are available.

The IBC mixer drive is supported on a lightweight stainless steel bridge that mounts directly onto the IBC frame and is secured in place with quick action toggle clamps.
As standard, IBC mixers are supplied with an eye bolt for lifting with a hoist or optional fork lift module - for lifting with a fork lift truck.

ELECTRIC MOTORS

IE2 Energy efficient electric motors are standard with IP55 protection and are available as fixed speed or with an Integral Electronic Variable speed (ESV)

Electric drives for use in a safe area are supplied factory wired ready for use and include a DOL starter with overload protection, safety switch, and 16 AMP appliance plug

Safety - a safety switch is integrated into the mixer support bridge and wired to the motor control circuit to prevent the mixer from being started when not mounted on an IBC.

AIR MOTORS

Pneumatic motors are supplied with a flow control valve to regulate the motor speed and an exhaust muffler. Estimated air consumption graphs and operating pressures for each model can be found in the Air drive IBC mixer Data sheet

GEARBOX

Gear drives for use in a safe area are factory filled with FDA class H1 food grade synthetic lubricant.

SHAFT AND IMPELLERS

Euromixers unique E-400 folding impeller has been designed for use on Industry standard IBC's with a 150mm screwed cap. The impellers are manufactured in several diameters to provide effective mixing for a wide range of products.

Wetted parts are manufactured in 316 stainless steel. Alternative materials are available for more corrosive applications.

HBC-High speed (Direct drive) IBC mixers are fitted with fixed blade E-300 impellers.

LBC- Low speed (Geardrive) IBC mixers are supplied with E-400 folding impellers.

CONTAINER

Euromixers IBC mixers are designed for use on industry standard 1000 / 800 litre plastic Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) with metal outer frame and 150mm screwed cap, also referred to as Tote tanks, and are suitable for most container types including Schà¼tz, Ecobulk, Sotralentz, Werts, and Van Leer.

MIXING SIZE AND SELECTION

The following tables provide a general selection guide application for products with a viscosity over 4,000cP. Dual impellers are normally offered to ensure a good top to bottom turnover in the IBC.
